Use the following characters in a SureDone SKU:
- Letters: a–z and A–Z
- Numbers: 0–9
- Punctuation and separators: - + _ / . ( ) : ; # | and spaces
How SureDone cleans a SKU
SureDone removes unsupported characters when processing SKU values, including when adding or editing products. This can happen before a product is sent to a channel. Leading and trailing spaces are removed, and repeated spaces are reduced to one space.

Avoid & and = in new SKUs. Neither character is in the supported set; both are removed by the SKU filter.
For new SKUs, letters, numbers, hyphens and underscores are a simple choice. Check the requirements of your connected channels and other tools, and keep product identifiers consistent across them. Before changing an existing SKU, confirm how that change will affect its linked listings and integrations.
