There are two methods for uploading Fitment in Bulk to eBay. The first method is to use the eBay EPIDS. The second allows you to directly specify the Year, Makes, & Models, right in your spreadsheet.This portion of the guide assume you already know how to bulk upload, if you do not, please check out the following section of our Solutions Portal that goes into the basics of using the bulk uploading: https://support.suredone.com/support/solutions/folders/1000228119
Step 1. Setting Up
Before you can do either method, make sure you setup your fitment mapping under Settings > Channels > eBay Options below the Fitment related toggles as well as choose the Fitment Interface Default method that will be used to update the field in bulk:
- Fitment Interface Default- There are two different options on how you can upload them in bulk which will be discussed further in this document:
- Asterisk (*) Delimiter
- JSON
- Fitment EPID Field - This tells the system in which fields you will be uploading and storing fitment data. There is a separate database field for Fitment EPIDs and Catalog EPIDs.
- Catalog EPID Field - If you want to upload Catalog EPIDs you’ll need to create a custom user field and map it here.
- Fitment Notes Fields - Map to custom field where fitment note is contained
Step 2. Create Bulk Upload File
- You’ll need the follow information:Action (either add, edit, start, or relist)
- Product Identifier (guid, id, or sku) for each item you are uploading fitment to
- The fitment fields that you mapped in Step 1
Step 3. Add Fitment Data
Here is where you have choices, you can use EPIDs, Catalog EPIDS,Y/M/M or any combination of the 3. You can have up to 1000 total pieces offitment information on eBay - trying to add more will result in having some fitment ignored and may cause errors.
A. Specify the Year, Make, and Model
You can add specific year make and models in the Fitment EPID Field withthe following format: YEAR1-YEAR2|MAKE|MODEL|SUBTYPE|ENGINE
- Example: 2001-2004|Lexus|RX300 or 2002|Toyota|Camry|2dr
Note: If you want to specify all Trims or Engine Types, you can just leave off those columns.You can also explode the last column using a caret (^)e.g. 2001-2004|Lexus|RX300^LS300^LX300 OR 2002|Toyota|Camry|2dr^4drTo add Fitment Notes to these, you can add them to then end following a doublecolon (::).
- Example: 2001-2004|Lexus|RX300^LS300^LX300::This fits on the rear end only
- Results:
2001 Lexus RX300 This fits on the rear end only
2002 Lexus RX300 This fits on the rear end only
2003 Lexus RX300 This fits on the rear end only
2004 Lexus RX300 This fits on the rear end only
2001 Lexus LS300 This fits on the rear end only
2002 Lexus LS300 This fits on the rear end only
2003 Lexus LS300 This fits on the rear end only
2004 Lexus LS300 This fits on the rear end only

B. Single Fitment EPIDS
You can put up to these using two methods: JSON and Asterisk (*) Delimited
- Asterisk (*) delimited:These can be combined with Y/M/M fitment in the Fitment EPID Field. EPIDs are separated by asterisk (*) and notes by double colon (::)
- Example:

C. Catalog EPIDS
You just put the value in the field. You may not delimit this field with more than one value, doing so will result in it being ignored by eBay and possibly cause errors in your fitment. The following screenshot shows an example of EPIDs being updated with the Asterisk (*) Delimited method and some Catalog EPIDs applied:
