You can change a Listing Plan while it is a draft. Once a plan is approved, you can only rename it or skip tasks, and once it has run, its tasks can't change.
You need the Run AI listing plans permission to edit a plan.
What you can change, by status
- Draft: everything. Edit the products, channels and actions, rename the plan, or skip individual tasks.
- Ready (approved): rename the plan or skip individual tasks. To change anything else, cancel the plan and create a new one.
- Running, Run finished or Partial: the tasks can't be changed and no new tasks can be added. To work on more products or make different changes, create a new plan. To reverse a plan that ran, see "Undoing a Listing Plan in Taska".
Edit a draft plan
- Open the plan from All plans.
- Click Edit. The plan editor opens with the plan's current products, channels and actions.
- Make your changes. The steps are the same as when you create a plan. See "Creating a Listing Plan in Taska".
- Click Save changes. Taska rebuilds the plan, which can take a minute for a large set of products, and opens it again as a draft for you to review.
Saving updates the same plan. It doesn't create a second one.
To leave without saving, click Cancel. You go back to the plan page and nothing changes.
If your new search matches no products, the editor tells you and the plan is left as it was. If the product search takes too long, try again or narrow the search.
Rename a plan
On the plan page, click Rename, type the new name and save it. Names can be up to 200 characters.
Skip a task
On a draft or Ready plan, open the Tasks tab and click Skip this task on any task you don't want. Taska leaves that task out when the plan runs. Skipping is a quick way to drop one product or one action without editing the whole plan.
Change a plan in chat
If Taska built the plan in chat, you can ask it for changes there. Click Make changes on the plan card, or tell Taska what to change, for example "remove Walmart from that plan". Taska updates the draft and shows you the plan again to review.
Next step
When the plan looks right, approve and run it. See "Reviewing and running a Listing Plan in Taska".
