A listing plan tells Taska which products to work on, which channels to list them on, and what to do for each product. Creating a plan changes nothing. It saves a draft for you to review and approve.
You need the Run AI listing plans permission to create plans. You can also ask Taska in chat to build a plan for you. Chat plans appear in All plans like any other, and you review them the same way.
Open the plan editor
Click + New plan in the Taska AI menu, on Taska Home, or on the All plans page. The editor has a plan name, three numbered steps, and a live credit estimate on the right.
Name the plan (optional)
Type a name in Plan name, up to 200 characters, for example "Spring restock". If you leave it blank, Taska names the plan after its channels and the date, for example "eBay and Amazon plan, Oct 28".
Step 1: What products?
Choose which products the plan covers:
- All products in your catalog.
- A saved scope. The product searches saved in AI Settings appear in the list, each with how many products it matches.
- Enter custom search. Use Guided options to build the search from conditions, such as Brand is Acme or Condition is New. You pick a product field, a channel field or one of your custom fields, then a rule such as is, contains or is at least. Or type the search yourself with Search text, for example brand:Acme condition:new.
As you choose, the editor shows how many products match and a sample of them. Click See all matches to page through every match.
If the plan includes Submit to channel, some matching products may still be left out of a channel when the plan is built, for example a product with no images can't go to eBay. The plan lists them on its Not included tab with the reason.
See "Product scopes in Taska" for how to write searches, with examples.
Step 2: What channels?
Click the channels you want to list on. Every channel on your account appears, but you can only pick channels that are enabled and authorized. The others are greyed out with the reason:
- disabled: the channel is turned off for your account. Enable it in Channels.
- not authorized: the channel's authorization is incomplete or has lapsed. Reauthorize it in Channels.
- not connected: the channel is no longer installed on your account. Remove it from the plan, or add the channel again in Channels.
A plan can't be saved while a greyed-out channel is selected.
If the saved scope you chose is limited to certain channels, those channels are selected for you and marked in scope. If the scope follows your default channels, those channels are selected and locked, marked from defaults, and you can add others. With no saved scope, turn on Use my default channels to select your defaults in one click.
Step 3: What should Taska do per product?
Turn on each action you want. Each one applies to every product in the plan:
- Optimize title (off by default): writes a channel-optimized title from the brand, condition and key specs. It goes into each channel's own title field, never the product's main title that all channels share.
- Optimize description (off by default): writes a structured description covering the product's benefits and specs.
- Map category (on by default): picks the eBay category and the Amazon product type.
- Fill required specifics (on by default): fills in the item specifics each channel requires that the product is missing.
- Fill missing condition (on by default): for eBay and Amazon, fills in a missing condition with your Default Condition. Set it first under Settings, Products & Inventory.
- Submit to channel (on by default): publishes each product to the selected channels.
If you turn off Submit to channel, the plan is a Data only plan. Taska saves its changes on your products in SureDone but doesn't publish them. Because nothing is published, products that are missing something a channel requires, such as images, are still included. Those changes can still reach a live listing later, the next time SureDone sends that product to the channel, for example after you edit the product.
An action shows as disabled if that kind of work is turned off in AI Settings, under Listing tool categories.
Taska sometimes keeps a product's existing title or description instead of writing a new one. After the run, the plan's content optimization summary lists those products and why.
Check the estimate
The Live estimate on the right shows about how many credits the plan will use, based on your recent usage. Writing titles and descriptions costs extra credits per product, and the estimate says when it doesn't include them.
Below the estimate is your balance: free monthly credits, plan credits, and top-up and bonus credits. It tells you whether you have enough to run this plan. You can save and approve a plan without enough credits, but you need credits to run it.
Save and review
Click Save & review. Taska builds the plan, which can take a minute for a large set of products, then opens it as a draft. Nothing has changed on your products or channels yet.
If something is missing, the editor tells you what to fix:
- "Choose a product scope."
- "Select at least one channel."
- "Enable at least one action."
- "Fix the highlighted conditions before saving."
If no products match, or the product search takes too long, the plan isn't saved and the editor says so. Narrow the search or try again.
To leave without saving, click Cancel.
Next, review and approve the plan. See "Reviewing and running a Listing Plan in Taska".
