Amazon Settings

3.1.1 Amazon Settings

The second step to managing Amazon through SureDone is setup the rules by which SureDone will manage your Amazon listings. These settings allow you to select default settings to apply to your listings. With default settings in place, you can list more efficiently to Amazon by only populating the required fields that change from listing to listing and letting SureDone default the other information.

All of these defaults can be overridden if you provide a different value on the individual product listing, giving you maximum listing flexibility. To reach your Amazon channel settings, use the same procedure you followed to authorize your channel:

  1. Login to your SureDone account.
  2. Click on Channels to take you to the Channels Settings Screen.
  3. Click on Amazon Main to expand the settings menu.
  4. You can manage the following settings for your Amazon channel in SureDone:

· Amazon Status: you need to switch this on in order to sync with Amazon.

o Set it once and forget it.

o Turning it off will disrupt the connection between SureDone and Amazon, potentially leading to system data corruption.

· Token: Your token was validated when you authorized your Amazon channel.

o Your token expires once a year.

o Should you need to re-authorize your account, you will receive an email from SureDone

o You can then repeat the directions in Section 3.1 (Authorizing Your Amazon Channel)

· Account Defaults > Default Product SkipYou have the option to set "Skips" at the channel level. Generally, you can set it         to "Always Send" and that typically means that you would want to list/sync items on this Amazon instance rather than             having to skip listing/syncing.

· Account Defaults >Currency: Choose the currency you prefer to sell in.

· Features:

o Shipping Template: Default to off, If you have shipping templates set up within Amazon, you can set this to be on.

o FBA Inventory Import: On enabling, SureDone will now pull your Amazon FBA inventory numbers every 30 minutes

directly and display it under User Fields and the General section of your listing.

o FBA Order Import: On enabling, SureDone will import your Amazon FBA Orders, these orders will have their status updated when the order is Cancelled or Shipped on Amazon

o Max Stock Field: Select the field to be used to hold your Max Stock Quantity.

  • This advanced feature is explained in a separate article.
  • This can be mapped to the same field used for eBay.
  • An example about how this works is shown in an eBay example explained here

o Min Stock Field: Select the field to be used to hold your Min Stock Quantity.

  • This advanced feature is explained in a separate article.
  • This can be mapped to the same field used for eBay.
  • An example about how this works is shown in an eBay example explained here

Field Mapping

This is explained in detail through Set up Amazon XML Mapping.

Note: If you are seeing some settings that were earlier visible to you in your account but are not showing up for you with the launch of this new version of the user interface, not to worry, those settings have not been changed and are still active on the back end. If you need changes to any or all of those settings, please request it via a support ticket through support.suredone.com mentioning the setting name and required changes.
