Creating a Kit via the User Interface

Create a kit from existing products, then use the Single Item Editor to manage its components.

Create a draft kit

1. Open Products and select the checkboxes beside the products you want to include. Click + New Kit. Select at least one product before opening the dialog.

2. In Create Draft Kit, enter a Title. The dialog starts with the title New Draft Kit.
3. Review the component GUIDs and enter the Quantity of each component needed for one kit. For example, a quantity of 2 means that each kit contains two units of that component. Use positive whole numbers.

The GUIDs identify the products you selected; they are displayed rather than entered in this dialog. There is no separate field for the new kit's GUID or SKU, and no row for adding another component here. To change your selection before creating the kit, close the dialog using the upper-right ×, adjust the product checkboxes, and click + New Kit again.

4. Click Create. SureDone saves the kit as a draft product and opens it in the Single Item Editor.
5. Complete the kit's product details and click Update to save your edits. Creating the draft is separate from publishing it to a sales channel.

To cancel: close the creation dialog using the upper-right × before clicking Create.

Edit a kit's components

1. Open an existing kit in the Single Item Editor.
2. Under Kit Details, click Show Kit Details. The component table opens in a popup.
3. Use the GUID, Title, and Quantity columns to review the components:
   • Change a quantity: edit the component's Quantity field.
   • Add a component: enter an existing product's GUID and the quantity in the bottom row, then click + Add.
   • Remove a component: click the × at the right of its row. The editor retains at least one component; it does not remove the final component.

The example below shows the component controls for an existing kit.

4. Close the popup, review the editor's channel skip settings, and click Update to save the component changes. Closing the popup alone does not save them. Use Skip All if you want to save the product without sending an update to the connected channels.
5. Wait for the save confirmation. Reopen the product and Show Kit Details to confirm the saved components and quantities.
